The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus or short for TRNC is recognized by one country which is Turkey on the Island of Cyprus. In 1960 when Cyprus got independence from the British the Greeks wanted to land on Cyprus but also the Turks which caused conflicts with both Greece and Turkey. Till this day the Island of Cyprus is split with the Greek Part called Cyprus and the Northern Part which is the TRNC and in the middle is the UN Buffer Zone.
