Sorry for the terrible doodle-style I used to convey this, but apparently on Megacord they said that Wily "increased King's brainwashing level", which is what was said in the Field Guide.

Shame on you, Wily. You're supposed to be a good dad to your robots - you mess with their physical and mental states just to make sure your plans go through? Next thing the game reveals, there'll be narration text saying that Wily used a virus to do the heinous act. And that said virus comes from a chip he found inside Skull Man's head!
