Short comic this time. I had a idea for some more involved one but I didn't have time to draw the new stuff. This is based off a conversation I had with a friend online, not Dustin. I hope she doesn't mind not using her. But like I said... new models take time.And no, I don't have anything against anime. But the idea of catching up on a involved series... oh man. That'll take ages!
Also, expect to see new Joey and Dustin models in the future. These look so old!

Don't waste your time with Bleach, it's mostly filler. Watch something worth watching, like Rurouni Kenshin, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Death Note, Big O, and Scr-y-ed. ^.^

I don't see whats wrong with Bleach, though the washed out wise crack was funny, Dustin looks like he's cross-eyed in one of the panels.
This is funny, but I'm a Bleach fan, so I hope I don't get sandwhiched from both sides of the fan base

And, yeah, I get what you mean. I'm still trying to catch up to the current chapter in Bleach. It's at somewhere around like 377 or something totally ridiculously high like that. (Except not as ridiculously high as Detective Conan. Egads, that manga is at somewhere in the 700's by now

ya, most anime now is just too long, try witchblade, it is a short series, with only one season, and a total of 24 episodes, you could finish it in one day(a link to it is in my last journal)

I agree with that. My favorite animes are usually the ones that don't last more than 25 episodes. And when those have fight scenes, they're well made and not pointless.

Honestly, I have yet to find out what made them call it bleach. nothing in the series has anything to do with it. you'd think there'd at least be some badly-named person named Bleach in it or something, but no. It's like it was a 3am decision, the entire naming commitee was plastered, and went to the laundry room for inspiration.

They don't really mention it in the english versions, but when a reaper kills a Hollow they are essentially cleaning a soul. Bleaching it, if you will. The series was supposed to go in a different direction than it did. Making the name an anachronism.
Plus the creator is a big Nirvana fan.

besides, it's hard to bleach things that are all black. you just get white speckley spots on it, or make it grey.

That's just the reason I read in some interview. I only started reading Bleach when I heard the main character was inspired by a Bad Religion song.
Say what you will about his story-telling abilities, but the dude's got a great taste in music.
