Wreck the Halls with Lots of Stomping is just an idea! Such a jolly guy! Looks like he had a bit too many barrels of spiked eggnog^^

The idea of Elf On a Shelf if you did not know, is you put a creepy elf doll on a shelf and every day move it while your kid isnt looking, so you can tell the kid it is alive and spying on you and reporting back to Santa when they are being a brat, effectively making your kid paranoid and unable to sleep until after Christmas.

For those of you that have this activity in your house and I just spoiled this delightful illusion your parents conjured, I am sorry for popping the bubble of your fantasies. Or nightmares as it were.

For those of you who live alone and you are an adult but you still have an elf that is always looking at you and is on a different perch every time you see him...well, you are in deep, deep shit. If you send a note to cry for help, or comment that this is your situation, make sure he isnt looking when you do it. And lock up the cutlery...and hide the key really well...
