My only experience with the Stalker Pattern bolter is from the game Space Marine. It was one of the many weapons Titus could find throughout the campaign and, I’ll admit, I didn’t use it much. When I had sniping to do, I preferred to use the regular old boltgun or a lascannon, if there happened to be one on hand. Even so, I recognized the Stalker as a pretty cool weapon. I mean, it’s a bolter/sniper rifle; you can’t go wrong with that. However, Space Marine is also one of the only appearances of the Stalker Pattern. Fluff regarding the Stalker is slim. Apparently it’s just a modified MkVb Godwyn Pattern, and the only official pictures of one outside of Space Marine I’ve been able to find are in photographs of the Ultramarine Sergeant Torias Telion miniature. That’s pretty much it.

Just the sort of thing that needs a good reproduction, I thought.
