i'm kinda in love with this. How'd it work out on your copics? b/c lovely as it is, at $4-7 a pop, I'm not going to kill my markers!

It only takes a real toll on your colorless blender as it does a lot of the effects work. individual colors will be on rotation so it's hardly noticeable. you can alternatively use brush with alcohol.
lastly, you can always order cheap replacement nibs.

O_O i completely forgot abotu replacement nibs! I'll have to try this! I have some spare canvas around here somewhere. Did you use hard board canvas of canvas on a frame? also your lines, were they with copic too?
and as for the colorless blender, i've been wondering, as i've recently had a small adventure with trying something that needed alcohol (rubbing alcohol, mind you) Do you know if rubbing alcohol can be used in this process? it might save your blender!

yes, I believe rubbing alcohol is the same. I use gesso'd canvas on a frame.

Copics on canvas? Gesso'd canvas cloth or canvas paper?
Loving the reflected red light in the shadows.
Seriously wanting to try that now. . . .
