It was evening in Adventure City and a little German Shepherd puppy was running around scared after being abandoned by his ownersChase: (whimpers oh!! I’m so scared I want Mommy and Daddy!!!!
The little pup ran onto a cross walk in a crowd of people once it was cleared he turned to see a truck coming
Truck horn: HONK!!!!
Chase: AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!(closed eyes)
Ryder (off screen): WAIT!!!!!!!!!
Chase: (opens one then both eyes) huh?
The little pup looked up to see a boy holding his hand at the truck he turned to him and lowered it
Ryder (worried): are you ok little guy?!
The little puppy shook in fright for a moment before speaking
Chase (while shivering beginning to show tears): I….I’m ok
Ryder: what’s wrong are you hurt?
At that moment the little puppy broke down in tears
Chase (bursting into tears): I’m lost!!!!! I don’t know how to get home my owners abandoned me and left me all alone here!!!!! In Adventure City!!!! (Sobs) I miss my Mommy and my Daddy and my family!!!!! (Sobs)
Ryder: oh no!!! They abandoned you?!
Chase
nods yes)Ryder: well maybe I can help you my name’s Ryder and you
Chase: I’m Chase and I’m sorry my owners got mad at me for being small and my Mommy and Daddy are probably worried about me and I don’t know where my home is! (Tears stream down his face as he continues to cry)
Seeing how upset Chase was broke Ryder’s heart
Ryder: awww don’t cry Chase (wipes his tears before picking him up) shhhh (strokes his fur gently) it’ll be okay I’ll help you find your Mommy and Daddy
Chase: You will?….oh thank you Ryder!!!!!!
Ryder takes Chase to an animal shelter to see if he could find info in his parents
Ryder put Chase down on a desk where a vet checked him for injuries Ryder stayed with Chase the whole time while he spoke to a the person in charge
Ryder: excuse me have you seen this puppy’s parents?
Head of the shelter: we have at one point this puppy lived in a house not far from here his owners were very mean and expected so much from him and treated him badly and I’m afraid his parents went off somewhere too
Ryder: oh my gosh!!!! Chase told me that
Vet: good news is Chase has no injuries but his blood sugar is very low it seems he hasn’t eaten in weeks
Ryder: (gasps) oh Chase you must be starving
Chase: I am but I’ll just head out to the streets I gotta stay away from here
Ryder was thinking of what to do he didn’t want Chase to head out there on his own he was too little to look after himself he then had an idea
Ryder: CHASE!!!! WAIT!!!!!
Chase: Ryder? What’s is it?
Ryder: I haven’t had many friends growing up and I know what it’s like to loose a family you don’t deserve to be alone so would you like to come home with me?
Chase: Ryder… are you saying you want to….adopt me?!
Ryder: Yes Chase I do!!!!
Chase at that point screamed out of joy before jumping into Ryder’s arms
Chase: OH THANK YOU RYDER!!!!! (Cries tears of Joy)
At that point Chase’s tummy let out a very loud growl
Ryder: let’s get you something to eat
Chase: thanks Ryder but where are we gonna go
Ryder: to a town I was moving to called Adventure Bay
Chase: that sounds nice but first can we get sole rig to to eat my tummy wants food
Ryder: (giggles) sure Chase
Shows the present day
Chase: and that pups is how Ryder and I became friends
Marshall: that’s awesome Chase!!!!!
Skye: truly amazing
Rocky: yeah….uh Chase? About that time we laughed at your tooth we’re very sorry
Chase: it’s ok Rocky thanks for apologizing
Zuma: anyone up for a ball game?
Rubble: that sounds good but one thing
The pups look at Rubble
Rubble: can we get lunch first?
Pups: Rubble (giggle)
Chase
looks at the sky) Mom, Dad wherever you are I’m gonna make you proud Skye(off screen) You coming Chase?
Chase: coming Skye (runs off to go play with his friends)
