Here we have the heroin of the Disney and Pixar movie and for it’s first anniversary Meilin Lee or Mei

Bio: In my universe the story takes place in 2022 or 2021 mainly so Mei can be her cute lovable self. Meilin Lee or Mei is a thirteen year old girl who wants to be her free spirited self hanging with her bestie crew Miriam, Priya and Abby but at the same time be the perfect daughter for her mother Ming and run the Lee family temple but her father Jin is fine with her choosing the path she wants. After a crazy dream she woke up next morning and saw she had turned into a giant fluffy red panda and at first panicked but everything was explained when Ming told her if they’re ancestor Sun Yee had that power at one point to protect her daughters during a war and passed it down to them and many more women in the family. Ming told Mei on the next red moon a ritual would happen and her panda would be sealed in a talisman but her friends helped her control her panda and hustled it to get tickets to see their favorite boy band 4Town and everyone thought she was so cute but Mei’s grandmother Wu along with her aunts wanted the panda sealed and after attacking Tyler a bully from her school who said mean things about her Mei decided to keep the panda when inspired by her father’s words although Ming was so furious by this she turned into an enormous red panda and destroyed the sky dome thankfully Mei stopped her and saved her mother. After that night Mei kept her panda and to this day enjoys life with her friends and even made friends with Tyler and is free to be who she wants to be

Design: when working on Mei I wanted ti give her a new shade of fur based on www.deviantart.com/tanasweet12… and gave her a dark red belly to try a look for her and for her human form gave her a pink t shirt one of the reasons is for www.deviantart.com/georgethere… and a second reason is for a different style but kept the glasses and the red hair and I drew her upper body because www.deviantart.com/cybereman20… wish him a happy birthday makes his designs like that for his pictures at times

Voice: I kept Rosalie Chiang as the voice of Mei because she is the best voice for her and sounds pretty cute

Age: I kept Mei 13 but her birthday is the same day Turning Red streamed on Disney Plus I wished it came into theaters tho
