That would be great. I could sell it and go to an art school to learn how to make proper pictures. To become an artists.

Hey, you are already a great and wonderful artist! You don't need to go to an art school for that

I'm not qualified. That makes a difference. I haven't studied art. I don't know how a real artwork should look like and my techniques are probably all wrong.

Awesome...
On another note, I think that the sphere would make for one sweet disco ball.

Oooo, I love fractals. How did you get them on that sphere? Did you use them as a texture? I like where the fractal meets the sphere and it's and explosion of red! Very cool! Great work!

Thank you. I made that sphere with Photoshop using a fractal. The background is much like it was. Just some adjusting, burning, dodging, blurring, sharpening, twisting and turning. And a couple of dozens of gradient layers as always.

Wow, layers upon layers upon layers! You sound like me. I use tons of layers. hehe Yea!

I'm always making backup copies of the layers before I'm changing anything permanently. That's why I end up having at lest thirty layers every time I'm making a picture. Quite often more than fifty.

I hear you! The book cover image I created a while ago had 152 separate layers and was right at 1gb in size! I wigged everytime my puter had a little hiccup. haha That was way to big and scary! haha I need to do a better job of merging layers and keeping things organized. It gets too crazy when there are so many. boo!

You must have one monster PC. I think mine would crash before 1gb. My PSD-files are usually 500-700mb and always less than a hundred layers. Besides if you ask people who don't know much about photo manipulations they think that there's only one layer for every image you used. So, this picture contains two layers and all the rest is just unnecessary flaunting.
I started to name the layers and remove those I don't need any more, but it didn't work for me. My way to make a picture is too intensive for that. I forgot to keep them organised.

Yes, It's kind of a monster. hehe I built it myself last year when my first computer crashed. I really need to update it already though. boo! Layers are really a good thing and can totally change the complexion of your image. I think you should use as many as you feel comfortable with. I just get too lazy to label each layer and then get myself in trouble when I can't figure out what the heck I did. haha

I built a completely new one in February and I haven't pushed it to it's limits yet, but I don't think it still could handle as large files as you are used to work with.

Cool, it's fun to learn about computers and I really learned a great deal when I built mine. I do have huge files so it's been a blessing to actually have the power to run all of the app's I have to use as well. My old puter just struggled terribly. boo! I really do need to update already. It's just so amazing how fast technology advances.

And it's unbelievable how fast your PSD-files are getting bigger and bigger. My first pictures took about 50mb. Now they are more than ten times that.
