Roxie is the Poison-type gym leader of Unova. When she was first introduced, she seemed to be super powerful; so much so that she gave her opponents Pecha Berries in order to cure them of poison just to have a fair fight. When she heard about the Poison-type gym leader in Orbaria, she wanted to go ahead and challenge them, seeing who the true toughest Poison-type leader was. Even though it would seem like she and her Scolipede would steamroll the competition, she was defeated and was forced to put on the punishment suit and spend her time in there. From what we heard, though, there is a good sound system they implemented into the suit, so at least she's having fun in there for the time being
