I already had this suspicion that Mordin was going to die in ME3, but actually *seeing* it happen hit me really hard. At the same time, I hold nothing against it; that scene was brilliantly, poignantly done. And now your painting has captured the essence of that moment: Mordin's serene acceptance of what needs to be done (and I suppose his redemption?) and his resolution to do it properly; and Shepard's pain in knowing nothing they say could stop Mordin, while understanding his need. Beautifully painted.

My husband kept quiet during that part. Since I was in the middle of my game....bawling my eyes out. Mordin's been my big brother through ME2 and they just decide to do this for their storyline? Now I have to see what he's like when he's not.......ya know...the other way of the story.
