From the internal monologue of my Kotor character:

"I left the Jedi way because they chose inaction when their world was in danger. I fully believe that the great masters would have continued to preach peace and harmony even as their very temple was being bombarded by Mandalorian shells directly above their heads. For all their talk of the dark side, it is clear to me now that the Jedi order is fighting something even more powerful: sentient nature.

"They would mold every being in the galaxy into images of themselves. They would raise their hands in attempt to calm an angry rancor even as it's rampage caused the deaths of dozens, when a single strike could save the lives of numerous potential victims. 'Action isn't inherently superior to inaction.' Tell that to the millions dead at the hands of the invading fleet we could have stopped. If this is the inner strength the Jedi preach, I would rather stay weak."
