My Shepard and the Illusive Woman.

The Illusive Man was actually my favorite character from the second game. Other than being a snide, manipulative bastard, I loved the ambiguity surrounding him, and was really exited to see where they would go with him in the third. Biggest disappointment ever! The whole "control" thing makes perfect sense for him as a motivation, and the ending choice might actually have been a dilemma in this case... if every single person Shepard interacted with didn't express how destroying is the only right choice.
But in the end what can we say about the Illusive Man? Was he a man with a goal and a purpose, a man with methods that not many would condone, but still carried them out none the less for the advancement of humanity? Nope. Sorry! He was indoctrinated. Just a tool for the reapers.

Anyway, just my opinion.
