OK. This deserves a particular praise.
Indeed, I do sense a eerie presence made of both light and darkness, shaped in the form of this which I can only assume to be a veritable angel of death, complete with a raven, sign of mourning and the glory of death itself. The contrast with the gloomy background delivers the dread of the night and the fear it can deliver to the hearts of men.
Truly a work of Art. Which is why I'll FAV it right this instant.

Beautiful! Somber and mysterious. Where I am, in the southern US, the summers are dreadfully humid, and sometimes the evenings roll out hazy and gradual. I vaguely remember something about the way the added moisture in the atmosphere diffuses the light differently or something to that effect. Anyway, the background in particular reminds me of that, the summers here when the air gets heavy and still.Β
