Not a lot of people know this but, I'm actually a Star Wars fan. Not a die-hard Star Wars fan, I actually don't like the new Star Wars trilogy (Episodes 7 to 9) by Disney. I'm that fan who's adequately knowledgeable about the lore and such. Welp, now you know lol
I present to you this minimalist art version of my OC (original character). I really haven't come up with an official name for him yet so we'll just call him "Eugene".
--Note: You won't understand anything beyond this point if you haven't watched any of the Star Wars movies.
Eugene here is a Gray Jedi.

What's a Gray Jedi you ask?
"Gray Jedis are Force-users who walked the line between the light and dark sides of the Force without surrendering to the dark side. Could mean any Force user not affiliated with the Sith and at the same time not under the Jedi Council rule."
This is why I picked this color scheme for his outfit and the color of the lightsaber, purple.
I picked purple because first, purple is awesome and second, the shading purple speaks to moral uncertainty, reconstruction, and recovery. Therefore, the individuals that used a purple lightsaber generally shared an affinity with both the Light and Dark sides of the Force, which makes sense for my OC as a Gray Jedi.
The choice of Eugene's primary weapon is a lightsaber pike. I personally enjoy having the advantage of a longer reach in any fight, in this case during a lightsaber duel for my OC. The shaft of the weapon is made of a metal called Phrik, which enables the weapon to be blaster bolt and lightsaber resistant, preventing it to be cut off and nearly indestructible.
Hey Len, why does your OC have a shield? I haven't seen any Jedi or Sith use a shield.
Well, the shield that Eugene uses is an energy shield, thus being massless. This allows him to protect himself if ever his opponent comes too close for a strike or if there's too many enemies firing at him (he could still use his weapon to deflect the blaster bolts of course), and besides, I consider my OC to be an independent man granting him his choice of weapon and protection. (He is heavily inspired by the Spartan warrior's loadout of spear & shield)
Eugene has mastered Form V: Shien / Djem So of the 7 lightsaber combat forms.
