Description
Freelance model Christien posing in drop temple glasses by Martin Wells from Australia. The glasses are called "Dawn" and they were made in the 1980's. The frame is highly reminiscent of the glasses designed by Silhouette at the time. The model's left eye is "leading" in this portrait as the right lens is several diopters too weak. The frame suited blondes perfectly because of its delicate colours. It was a great pity that drop temple glasses dropped out of sight in the streets when retro fashion replaced the big frames in 1988 / 1989.Location: Amersfoort, August 10th, 2011
