It's funny that other costume of the girl in the center is a recent thing for a little over 3 years, while the REAL ass costume all the way on the right is Carol's costume for nearly FOUR decades. If you do the actual math, Carol's REAL costume has been there for 37 years and that recent one for 3 years; 3 of 37= 90%!!
So 90% of her entire existance has actually been one very iconic costume of the Marvel comics.
And she's never been called "captain marvel" for NINETY PERCENT of her published existance!!! It's just a factual reality of the actual numbers .
Carol Danvers? MS. MARVEL!

I know she was ms. marvel, and was to me, one of Marvel's counterpart to Wonder woman, but I still enjoy both costumes, and would like to see a fusion of them.

Yes you're definitely right Ms. Marvel was always Marvels counterpart to Wonder Woman for sure. 
Which would be like if Wonder Woman for 4-2 yrs had suddenly been called "Captain Wonder" and they made her very first theatre film and instead of calling her first film "Wonder Woman" they called it "Captain Wonder" even tho Diana's title has been Wonder Woman for 90% of her existance.
