At first I was actually expecting him to be like F! Ike, all out of control and in a rampage. But I was really surprised that in his first conversation, he just greeted us and just had a casual talk. And this intrigued me. Then I followed through his convos, and Convo A snd S are my favorites. I love the exchange between Young Azura and him, comforting him that it wasn’t his fault and he doesn’t need to be lonely.

“I don’t want to be alone anymore. And I don’t want anyone else to be lonesome on my account.”

After reading his convos, I made sure for him to come home. And now this is my favorite alt of him. There’s just something about him that I find so relatable or I really sympathize especially loneliness part and controlling his inner demons. I just find good guys trying to resist the dark side and not embracing it, interesting. If he was totally not in control or just plain blood thirsty like most Fallen Heroes, I wouldn’t be interested. Although his awesome art says that he would tear you to shreds but he is actually the contrary, and he is still a good guy. Overall, I just love this alt, lorewise, combatwise and art. All I could ask for.

On other note, I couldn’t believe I pulled this one off especially this was my first time to draw with complete backgrounds and some advanced techniques, considering this was made with Paint net. Now I’ll move on to my next 2 drafts of FB convos illustrations, which would take a month again to make.
