"The character, Vurr, is a member of a human-felinid species that evolved on a distant tropical planet as a side effect of a war that took place between warring human factions above thier planet's atmosphere. His species consists mostly of stone age hunter-gatherer tribes and clans of varying goals and ideologies, but they all worship these great fields of technological debris left by the old war as "graveyards of the gods".

Despite being essentially cavemen, his species uses these salvaged remnants of advanced human technology as tools of great power. Some tribes with leaders of nearly humanlike intellect even have the capability of space travel, and are known as pirates and raiders across the star system to many.

Vurr is one of these "space pirates", a stoic warrior on the hunt for alien technology to raid and haul back to the elders of his own tribe in the middle of a jungle so that he can claim the role of a chief and the right to have a mate. "
