As someone who has had the privilege of visiting San Francisco and other coastal California locales many times before, I must say up front that I appreciate how this piece manages to capture the inherent beauty of a coastal sunset, with the sun's light reflecting off the waters of the bay.
However, it behooves me to say that I think that the use of reddish purples along the horizon line clashes a little with the extremely bright sun. For that matter, I think that perhaps the sun looks almost too white. Perhaps adding in a bit more yellow or even a smidgen of orange would help balance it out.
