I love this piece, but agree with an earlier comment, it makes me think of happyness, not loneliness.
However, from the empty street's point of view, this street would feel lonely with no people around for company.
Maybe that's why I like it, there's an emotional contrast.
Either way, it's beautiful work

This is heart-breaking. It reminds me of when I was so alone in Berlin...
*looks some more* I think if you'd titled it 'Happiness' or something, I would have felt completely different about it, but it's so...real...somehow, as has been said, and reminds me of a grey Berlin day where you could FEEL the colour, even if you couldn't see it...(My fiance wandered off with someone else and I had many a long aimless walk down streets like this, sat on benches like this, wishing he was there and knowing he never would be again.)

I can't get tired of seeing your artwork. So beautiful. I will only say one thing on the slight negative - the perspective of the bench doesn't match the perspective of the background. That is only being picky. When you see a painting such as this, you just want to enjoy the scene, not pick at little things.

i love this. even though you have used simplistic shapes without blending the colors together, this painting has an abstract feel without detracting from the scene you tried to depict. the color choices were used perfectly. well done.

I totally got confuse for a second because the leaves looked like paper to me. Props to you for using only a palette knife, I can't do that. My only issue with the painting is the area at the top of the bench behind the tree. I feel like there should be more definition there, I feel like it's blurred. If that's the intention, cool. I just feel like I can't look at that spot, but I get drawn to it and away from the lanterns which are so beautiful. Great job and keep it up, it's really neat.

I'll start off by saying that I think this is an amazing piece of art, and you have major skills my friend.
I'm in no way an art fanatic, but since you asked for constructive comments, something about it doesn't quit flow, maybe the use of too many different colors in the top right corner. On the other hand though, that's the first thing that catches your eye and draws attention to the picture, at least, that was the case for me.
