2nd in an illustrated story done using DAZ3dĀ"Trip go OK skipper?" Davis asked her CO, saluting.
"About as expected, Barb," he replied, returning her salute. "We've a job. Little bit of an odd one," he went on as they walked to the flight deck.
Around them the crew who were lucky enough to grab some shore-leave were stowing their personal effects in preparation for getting underway. It was a surprisingly orderly scene, but then the Antares class patrol ships had a small complement.Ā
"Odd sir? In what way?" the XO replied.
"Get Rodriquez to meet us on the flight deck and I'll brief you both. She'll be ferrying a VIP back and forth."
"Aye, aye Captain."
