I love the way you work with colors and textures, they're so soft and soothing, yet contrasting and eye-catching! There's a lot of elements i love about this piece, like the red moon, the ship and the texture on the wisps, great job!

The compostion has a beautiful soft and eerie vibe that works perfectly for the theme of this piece!!Β I always have had a soft spot for ghost ships in general but honestly this illustration is one of my favorites from the event so far >:0
The gentle light emenating from the wisps is reflected just enough on the water and esk to be clearly glowing but not tip the balance of the piece!

Me too! Ghost ships are so mysterious and I felt like they fit perfectly for the later Haunted Place prompt for an Esk in marine biome...! Though I'm afraid I couldn't get there for this quest XD

I noticed how good some traditional Chinese works and expressionism watercolor works can create mesmerizing atmospheres, so I tried to merge them a little
I love the morning that is so thin it is barely morning yet, the autumn fog heavy on the sea shore...
