Description
This image depicts a metaphorical gate that prevents us from accidentally wandering into alternative versions of reality, the "alternities" of the title. The piece began as a tutorial on using the spherical framework in Chaotica, but I tweaked the result and then added/changed elements in post-processing. (I used Autoshop Sketchbook, Photo Impact 12 and Photoshop Express in addition to Chaotica to complete the picture.)
