Description
Sargass did not know what he has just found. For houndreds of years, humans have searched for the lost original of the famous Discobolus statue from ancient Greece. The 21. century art historians know it it only from Roman copies, but the original greek sculpture by Myron is considered lost to time. For Sargass, it was just a curiosity. How did it get here? He couldn't tell what material it is, since he has never seen it before, but it seemed quite heavy. It certanly didn't get here at once, and most likely moved little by little over houndreds of years. Maybe a recent strong hurricane washed it ashore for the final few meters. Perhaps an earthquake caused the shoreline to change, and the sea receeded back to reveal this treasure?
Either way, it did not matter to an esk. Sargass lost interest in it and turned to swim away.
