“Bloom Your Inner You”

Imagine yourself as a little flower
Except you’re not, a seed you are
Fearful of the views of all
The others that will bloom at this very hour

Hidden in soil, comforted there
Watching stems float towards the sky
Bursting their vividness, not a reason to care
You take this moment to dig deeper and cry

“What if I’m not as beautiful as them?
What if I’m a dork? A disgrace? A mess?
What if all they all make fun of me
because I am as ugly and useless, my body a seed
I can’t go out there because-“

“My dearest honey, you need to slow down
Maybe these words I’ll say will make you leave.”

“No matter what, I will stay underground
Let me cry and leave me be”

“If you are not aware, I am Willow.
The Pachirisu that wanders through the meadows
If I notice a seed unwilling to grow
I will give these words, and soon these words they will know
I promise that I’m not for any sort of quarrel”

“Just say what you need to say you old squirrel”

“I remembered I used to be just like you:
Doubtful, shy, and meek
Lonely and unwilling to speak
Thinking the words I cry will be weak
It wasn’t until this paintbrush I hold
That I showed off my passion: my ability to paint
Soon I awed all, I was much appreciated
As if I were a luxurious piece of gold”

“You must’ve had it well
But what does this have to do with this living Hell?”

“I know that it’s hard to believe
the fact that you’re a miracle straight out of dreams
But, if you come out , I’ll show you what I mean.”

Sigh....
“I’ll come out, but I already know the ridicule I’ll get”

Petals grow, vivid bright
Glowing from the tips, kudos to the sunlight

Lets just put the ending here,
And just say this one thing you all have to hear:

No matter what, be yourself
Show your true colors, be happy with yourself
You’ll realize your life has a non-money wealth
