Another photo from the five day trip I mentioned previously. This one taken at Vernal's Utah Field House Of Natural History (in the outdoor Dinosaur Garden) and featuring the late Dave Thomas's life sized model of the apex predator that (alongside Torvosaurus and Ceratosaurus) stalked the surrounding areas 150 million years ago. This is one of 18 prehistoric animal statues featured in the garden, most of which were sculpted in the early 60s*. Though as one study last year shows, it's tongue sticking up is now considered an inaccuracy:
