In addition to letting Zilla Jr. retain the new brand of happiness she brought into his life, she would've made the H.E.A.T. Team dynamic more interesting given that they would've had a second kaiju at their disposal. And certainly, she would've come in handy when they were facing multiple kaiju/mutations all at once. On top of that, the show would've had to be given a new intro, and it's likely there would've been at least one or two episodes where she'd take down an enemy kaiju/mutation by herself in true feminist fashion.
