I wanted to design my own version of The Doctor, but I didn't think anyone would be interested in looking at something that wasn't canon, nor was I going to do much with the design myself.

So I decided to draw the very first Doctor, William Hartnell, but as a much younger man. I'm not sure what's considered young for a Timelord, probably about 150 or something outrageous, but he doesn't look grey haired and feeble is my point.

I ditched the black jacket to loosen him up, but kept everything else about The Doctor's first outfit. However, I've wondered why nothing physical about the Doctor indicates he's a time traveller, so I decided to give him some type of watch - which I suppose is painfully obvious, but nevertheless I tjink an adornment of watches, at least with this costume, snazzes him up wonderfully.

No Tardis yet, no Sonic Screwdriver, just leaping through the Time Vortex to see where he ends up
