A number of years ago I did I set of portraits of four of the female characters from the "Teen Titans" animated series. Each was drawn on a sheet of colored matte paper. I rendered Jinx on a carnation pink background. I used a very impressionistic style in pastels. Fans at comic cons don't seem to appreciate subtlety. They seem to prefer vivid color saturated art.
I have entirely repainted Jinx with acrylics and markers to intensify the colors and bring out greater contrast and more vibrant color. Perhaps this new version will sell.
