Description
While on an extermination mission she becomes fixated on three boys who were virus-positive. Confused, she found that they too had powers of their own. One even had the same powers as her old best friend Xun. The others seemed to be related in some way. The younger one had the ability to turn into a gas form while the older dark-haired one was using what appeared to be his spit to form blades and daggers. In the midst of the fight, Aurora heard a name she never thought she’d hear again. “Xun!” one of the boys had shouted as she was about to lay a lethal blow to the Asian one’s body...realization hit her at once, as she looked into his eyes and her flames went from a blazing pink to purple to a soft blue in mere seconds. She began to cry, something she had not remembered she could actually do. “Xun?...is it?” She stumbled backward, completely unaware that one of the dark-haired boys daggers had just pierced her shoulder. “Xun I… I thought you were dead.”
Xun, looking back at her confusion, then surprise, at both the revelation
and then at her shoulder that was now ablaze with arcs of lightning plasma shooting out. “STOP!”, he shouted as she fell to the ground, burning Xun as he caught her, though he did not react to it. He just held her and said, “It’s okay Ali, I got you now, you’re going to be okay,” using the old nickname he had given her after learning her middle name.

He was right, she would be fine. She had lost more blood than that before and healed much faster than normal humans. As she passed out the flames and lightning disappeared and it was calm. She was with her best friend again, she was safe, and Xun would “be a dead puddle on the floor before they ever got her back,” he had said as much as she lost consciousness.
