My depiction of cancer.
Cancer is represented by the goddess Artemis and the moon. Being a sign of the moon means they are highly introspective and relate more to emotional stimulus and understand all the deepest parts of themselves.
Being very in tune with the human condition they are the protectors of the zodiac. They have a particular talent for empathic based psychic attunement. Having wild dreams and seeing auras or other forms of divination is most common in a cancer. Because of their introspective nature they are well aware of their emotional sensitivities and compensate by being at times guarded about their desires. What they lack in trust they more than make up for in loyalty and protective nature. Cancers elemental state is cardinal water (rain water). Like rain he is always easily movable but inevitable all the same. The very adaptive mind of the cancer only feels able to be so because they have their armor and its not easily broken. They have some of the most essential qualities to fit in to just the right situations.
