Another commission completely unrelated to the ones I'm offering on devArt (haven't gotten any requests yet... >.> ). Katara and Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender. I am extremely pleased with the way this turned out--the poses, the colors, the linework, the water--everything <3Consider me artistically satisfied n_____n

Superbly done. I think my favorite part is how you handled the water--it's stylized rather appropriately, and it does convey a good sense of motion too.
Aang is well drawn. I like how... whatever he has on his shoulders also has a sense of motion about it, and the cartoony grin/look of amazement on his face is vintage him. Very authentic.
Katara... well, what can I say, you nailed her? A lot of people have said she actually looks her age, and that's very good. But the big thing for me is how she looks like she's having fun, which she should--too often she's drawn rather seriously. I also like the look of motion with her half skirt thing, too.
Her abs do look surprisingly muscular though o.O Not a complaint or anything, I'm just surprised considering how you drew her age-appropriate and all. But I trust your judgment, given how well you executed the rest of it.
Worth a fav? Hm, yes, I do believe so.
