Description I’m the Storyteller,
Remember me?
Childhood tales
About the White Knight
And his golden haired Queen
Living ever after in their Castle of Glass.

I’m the Storyteller,
Chronicling the Past
Speaking of the Future
Young and Old alike,
All flock to hear me address the crowd
Remember me?

I’m the Storyteller,
Here to tell a different Tale
Than the happy ones of norm
It calls to mind the Darkest things
The Knight of White killed on his quest.

I’m the Storyteller,
Do you know now of what I speak?
The White Knight has finished,
He raises from the Throne
Says, “Now my Queen, I leave you,
For Past debts have come to collect.”
And off he strides, into the Unknown.

I’m the Storyteller,
And to you alone I speak,
Of Death, and when the two of you shall meet.
How pale you get, with just those words,
As Hell comes to mind.

I’m the Storyteller,
It is of your death I speak
When tales tell of the damned
Why you ask, should you be condemned
For sins of which you know not
I laugh at your attempt to remember
Any past transgressions

I’m the Storyteller,
And I’ll tell you what you did
Why you are being sent
To that feared Ninth Level
You will recollect why
As soon as the words leave my lips

I’m the Storyteller,
And this is your story of sin
Only a little one, perhaps five, maybe six
And you had found another youngster,
Same age as yourself
Wandering the woods, in search of shelter
You showed her away, promising a lovely house

I’m the Storyteller,
And I see that you are starting to recall this tale
You know what happens next, don’t you
The little girl follows,  fooled into false dreams
And through the woods you go
To that haunted house, her promised prize

I’m the Storyteller,
And you are malevolence personified
As a child, you offered one such as yourself to the demons
A wicked thing, to be sure
And when she started to cry
You pushed her in, blocking out her pleas
And blocking the door
She rests alone now,
Wishing for that little one that led her
To return to play as you gave your word

I’m the Storyteller,
That was and still is your tale
She wants you back
So back you shall go
She waits for you at the gates
And I am to send you on your way

I’m the Storyteller,
Please tell her,
I said hello
