Well, I decided to make a try and submit an entry to TheFavouriteShowcase group's monthly challenge as an affiliate group member (Wow-Macros). The topic of June is butterflies and ladybugs
I took this photo in the nearby forest on a very nice autumn evening when the last rays of the setting sun illuminated the reddish-green autumn foliage of trees, creating a spectacular bokeh from the right angle. This little ladybug was laying calmly in a corner of a rotting log covered in moss. The whole scene was very dreamy and peaceful.
Technical details:
- Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 bridge camera was used
- without any special gear (filters, macrolenses, etc.)
- the photo was taken without a tripod, from hand, in backlight
- the bokeh is natural, created by the backlight coming through the foliage of the trees
- Adobe Photoshop was used only for adding my signature and making light/white balance/saturation adjustments
- no brushes were used, not a photo-manipulation
- the photo was taken in 2016.
