Welcome back Thomas fans to another review. So I received the newest DVD "A Colorful World" and had the last 8 episode of S22 and I love the DVD so much because It has 2 Episodes I love so much and today we're going to look at one of them. This episode was also a honorable mention in my Top 20 episode's video, check it out by clicking here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJwZuQ… So without further ado, let's take a look at "An Engine of Many Colours", which takes place during "The Fastest Red Engine on Sodor" and "A Shed for Edward"

So after Thomas' Introduction, we start with James crashing into Tidmouth Sheds (As seen in "The Fastest Red Engine on Sodor"), then we cut to James in the Steamworks being repaired and upset about his crash and if The Fat Controller will paint him Blue like he told him years ago ("James and the Coaches"). Then James starts to dream about being Blue, at first he's upset, but then he finds it easy to pull the express, he speeds past Spencer who warns to about about showing off and crashing again, then just as James is about to crash into the Vicarstown Bridge, he wakes up from his dream. Then he sees Henry passing by and James starts dreaming about being Green like him and Percy, once again he's upset about Green, but then he finds Green makes you very strong, he passes Rosie who once again warns him about showing off and crashing, just as James is about to crash into Edward's train, he wakes up yet again. When James falls asleep again, this time he dreams about being Silver like Spencer and yet again starts showing off but this time the word "crash" gets stuck in his head, almost crashes into Philip and starts changing colours from Brown to Purple to Yellow to Green again to Orange and wakes up screaming. James apologises to The Fat Controller for showing off the day before and promises to be really useful, he is forgiven and is fully repaired again. He meets Thomas who is glad James is back in service again, and quietly says his red paint looks splendid again.

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST JAMES EPISODE I'VE EVER SEEN!!!! This episode was SO much better than "Apology Impossible" let me tell you. This episode introduced a new writer to the show "Micheal White" (Known as WhiteHouseFilms) and he did a wonderful job writing this episode, he's also written "Hunt the Truck", "Free the Roads and "Heart of Gold" and they are all Fantastic episodes, he is great writer for the show, Well done Micheal! It was really interesting to see what happened to James during "A Shed for Edward" and I'm really glad we got to see it. "James and the Coaches" really had a big mention in this episode and It was great callback. Seeing James in all these colours were really something to see, my favorite dream was when he was when he was Silver, I love how it started great but then turned into a Nightmare, it was also great that Rosie didn't just speak in one episode this season "Rosie is Red" is the other one. So overall this episode is just wonderful and very well written for James, totally check out this episode.
