Eh...What's up Docs? LiamFitz34 back again and it's time for another review. Now for today's review, We're going to look at two episodes from two DIFFERENT Shows!! Besides Cartoons being one of my passions, another important passion that means a lot to me is Music. I love listening to music whenever I watch cartoons, When I'm feeling sad, or even when I'm bored, Classical Music is especially what I love listening to the most, like Techno, Hip-Hop, Country, Gospel and ESPECIALLY OPERA!!! Which is why today we are going to talk about my favorite episode of "Hey Arnold" which is "What's Opera Arnold?" from Season 2. And I'm also going to do my first ever review of LOONEY TUNES!! and what better episode to look at then my favorite episode "What's Opera Doc?", LET'S GET MUSICAL!!!So let's start with "What's Opera Arnold?" Choosing a favorite episode of Hey Arnold was no easy task after I finished Season 1, but when I came to this episode, I was in tears by the end and it instantly became my favorite episode, no other Hey Arnold episode can take the number one spot NOT EVEN CLOSE!!! So in this episode Arnold, Helga, Gerald and all the classmates go to see the opera "Carmen" and while it's performing, Arnold and Helga both have dreams of them doing the opera themselves. What can I say about this episode?? I love it to pieces, the humor, the singing and the dialogue is all perfect. And it was stated that Craig Bartlett who wrote this episode got inspired by my favorite Looney Tunes episode "What's Opera Doc?" to write this episode and I'm SO HAPPY that two of my favorite episode from two different shows HAVE A CONNECTION!! Also it was great to hear Toran Caudell return to his role as Arnold but only for the singing voice, and boy he has quite a voice. This is like what happened in The Loud House "Really Loud Music" when Lincoln had two voices for talking and singing. I loved hearing the other characters sing too especially Helga, Ruth and even Harold (who really cracked me up). With that I think I've said enough about this amazing episode, overall it is such a wonderful episode and it will always be my favorite episode of "Hey Arnold!" Totally check this out.
Now then, let's move onto the inspiration episode that made the above episode happen. Ladies and Gentleman, Let's talk about Chuck Jones Masterpiece episode of Looney Tunes "What's Opera Doc?" starring Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd. Looney Tunes has always been one of my top favorite cartoons of all times, I never get sick and tired of them, Choosing a favorite is impossible because I HAVE TOO MANY FAVORITES!!! But I would have to pick this one as my top favorite and boy it was great choice. Bugs Bunny is my favorite out of all the Looney Tunes and to see him and Elmer Fudd (who is another favorite character) preform Opera is just wonderful. Mel Blanc and Arthur Q.Bryan really outdid themselves with singing as the their respective characters. And every-time I come to the end of this cartoon, I always shred tears, I love the atmosphere, the tone and especially the Music, GOD I LOVE OPERA!!! In fact this cartoon was rated Number 1 at the The 50 Greatest Cartoons: As Selected by 1,000 Animation Professionals, THEY HAS JUST BEATEN DUCK AMUCK (Better luck next time Daffy) and whenever they do Bugs Bunny at the Symphony, they ALWAYS play this short. So overall this Looney Tunes Episode will always be my number one favorite, YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS!!!
And with that, my musical trip comes to a close, I hope you enjoyed our look into these two cartoons, now if you'll excuse me I think I'm gonna go watch them again. Thanks for join me guys and I'll see you next time. Er.Er.Er THAT'S ALL FOLKS
