The giant mushrooms loomed above you. You realized that you are no longer in your own world.This place reeked of death and decay, of the soft moist earth mixed with wood and rotting plants. One may think this would bring a sense of dread or despair, yet the colorful fungi brings an eerie beauty to this peculiar biome.
But before you could question how you got here, something caught your eyes. A red mushroom cap was moving towards you. Turns out, it is a calico cat wearing a funny red cap. He seemed curious yet happy to see you. He gave you a friendly smile and waved at you.
He mewed, "Hiya traveler! Welcome to the Mushroom Forest. The name is Myci. I've been living here my whole life, so if you need a tour guide, well, I'm your guy!"
He gestured to the little creature on his shoulder, "This is Misty. They can't talk but they have a great sense of humor. A really fun guy!"
The tiny sentient mushroom eyed you cautiously. Judging you from your face to your clothing choice. It deeemed you not a threat, and waved its wand at you.
