Jay and I did a sequel to our original Rogue concept shoot. Since most of this is CG... ya gotta wonder how any Production Design is involved. Well... how'd she get up there in the first place. lol. Used a trampoline and some industrial fans to get the right feel of wind going through her hair and jacket. She had to jump on the trampoline and jump off... pose in midair then land. I love the comic book feel of this! At first I thought it was a digital painting as might be used for a comic book cover - I had to squint really closely to see it was actually a photograph! Every aspect of this is so brilliantly done: styling, cosplay crafting, model's look to capture Rogue, pose, digital effects, photo capture - wonderful!

I still don't remember how she was able to fly around. If her power is absorbing the powers of others temporarily, then how was she able to attain flight on a regular basis?

Rogue was able to permanently absorb powers/memory/personality if she held on long enough. At one point, she held on that long to Ms. Marvel, permanently gaining the ability to fly and mild super-strength. Ms. Marvel, in return, lost her powers. This was eventually corrected, though I'm not sure how.
