A vampire-like one.
Damn, Andy loves Halloween. It's his second favorite time of the year.
For second year he was playing off first Halloween’s guys theme with Bax being “Big Grey Wolf ”, but with big twist mentioned above. Such Red riding hood will win over any wolf.
On side note, he would make cool "real" vampire.

It’s more about how Andy feels wearing his costume rather than literally his cape defying gravity.
I swear he found the most old-style looking building in Polis.
Illuminating lens make appearance once more.
Andy's is described through book as skinny/slim and tall. Baxtor even describes him as anorexic during their second meeting. (However, his perception is screwed by "norm" picked from people around him, where he heard being called "skinny" (and Bax is nowhere near that...), so no wonder Andy appears anorexic to him. In reality Amdy is just tall and skinny/slim, which I'm desperately trying to show through my art).

It's magic of concentration and daily work. I have a timer that counts only time spent drawing (no idle time) and it's solid 6-8 hours per day on average. ^^
This drawing took 13 hours 50 minutes.

That's incredible. I envy you that you have that kind of concentration, also the timer is a great thing to do, especially if you're making an artwork for someone else and it's like paid per hour you spend on making it or so.

Hopefully this will lighten that sense of dread you get when contemplating doing further buildings! This turned out wonderfully! Limited pallets can be so liberating at times! And this I bet was one of those times. <3

Having that ability to drive through an obstacle that previously petrified you is amazing. Being able to then practice until it becomes a comfort is better.

Congrats on the building. It's a simple, painting style, but looks pretty good. Did you use any photo as an inspiration?
Also the costume gives me nosebleed. This year i focused on giving my characters better clothes than a simple jacket with jeans and heavy boots, so i notice such stuff

Thank you! I used a inspiration photos for the towers (they ended up as mix of what I picked from viewing photos and MSU architecture that sits in the back of my head), but main big building is pure imagination.

I understand that wish very well. Back in the day I was like "I have two main male characters...There are so little I can design for guys...

True. I have one hoodie that is very long and not really practical (especially in art college), but i get +50 to majesty instantly when i wear it XD

In the book Baxtor has a separate 2 room wardrobe (but you wouldn't say so, by looking at him, because there is not much variation and he sticks to certain looks for long), while Andy's place is described as overloaded with clothing (while having one dresser drawer) and as winter came he changed already like 5 times because he wanted to impress and look extra nice for Baxtor (as they weren't yet romantic) . <3

Answer to why Bax has more is simple... He is miles richer than Andy. Maybe Andy would buy new outfit everyday, but he is unable to do so and his stick is to work around with what he has or look for ways to obtain clothing other way. Bax on the other hand can buy whatever, plus women around him (his mother, Deliah, his ex-gf) had tendency to "dress him up", a.k.a. buy clothes for him, so even if in the end he didn't like it, he still would put it in his wardrobe. dude himself also has certain taste, but as I said, he tends to stick to certain looks, so he is that fashionable and his only "fashion" weakness seem to be watches, he collects them on own will.
I think it's mix of both in case of Andy. On third "date" night he dressed the way Baxtor described as "goth f*ck boy", yet Andy genuinely seemed to enjoy his look even after such remark. But for irl people idk. X)

You don't understand extent at which women in his life felt the need to dress him up. It was soft control a- "you know, WE know better how you should look". As the result his wardrobe is cluttered with clothing he has, but doesn't wear and to highlight this situation, there is scene when his mother insists on his dressing up they way she wants, because she knows "what's more appropriate for the situation".
