The more I watch this picture the more I don't understand why the iris casts a shadow on the eye bulb.

i love it how you haven't chosen the typical blue coloured eyes to depict the sea, its really quite original

really great idea.. but one thing attracts my attention. looks like there is a small part missing in your pupil.. right at the direction 4(if you think your eye as a clock face...) but anyway looks wonderful
