I woke up today and learned that Akira Toriyama, the famous Mangaka and creator of Dr Slump and Dragon Ball, and character designer for Dragon Quest, Chrono Trigger and Blue Dragon, passed away at the age of 68 on the 1st of March 2024I was shocked when I heard these unfortunate news.. Toriyama had a huge influance on me, specificaly Dragon ball. It was one of the things that inspired me to fucos on art and comics, and it brought me great joy in general... Im not even sure where I woudl be if it wasnt for his influance.
He was a great man, he had a huge impact in popular culture... He will be remembered and live on in our hearts,, he and his amazing craft, and he may contiue to inspire us all.
