This was one of my first attempts at the Making Peace with the Past project (recycling painful past journal entries to make new art & hopefully heal old wounds) from 2013. It was a bit haphazard and rushed, but I wanted to start it and see if I would regret it (I don't). I tore up journal pages from 2001, glued them on a page, and painted over it with acrylic paint. Illustration is of an arm and hand with the word "unscathed" written on it, the page also has some hidden lyrics etched into the background.
