What's your love language?
I just found out about the "Five Love Languages" discovered by Gary Chapman. It really helped me to understand which love languages the people in my life and I myself are speaking. We all have different ways to express our love and assume that others feel and love the same way as we do - this can lead to many difficulties and missunderstandings.Β
You have a first and a second love language. For me it's most important to spend much quality time together with the ones I love and to give and receive unexpected gifts that meet my character like my favorite brand of chocolate or a special songtext.Β

what pseudo-psychological toss.
Seems just like an excuse for the materialistic to consider over obsession on gifts as equal to 'love'. Or for the callous to excuse themselves not attending to their partner's physical nees by going 'sorry, i just don;t have service as a love language'.
Not to mention that 'quality time' could literally mean any of the other 4 depending on who you ask.
Complete toss, about as scientifically robust as horoscopes.
