i locked the focus and hoped for the best as it raced past me
it was a shot in a million - i saw it on the small screen and hoped it resembled some sort of focus. this was the first of 3 shots (yes he was doing laps 
i was at a friends house having coffee so it was a bit rude to stay focussed on the cat any longer than i did

yeah it's a pitty the eyes arn't showing - it was just the way the light came through the window. it fell better this way for the shadow on the flooring. but not the face.

it's a Japanese movie. The same guy who directed "Castle in the Sky" and "Spirited Away"
I recommend you watch Spirited Away...it's a wonderful film!
