Many people hate this film because it steps away from the genre of racing, as well as has Mater as the protagonist, not Lightning McQueen. But to be honest, I love the spy theme and Mater being the protagonist. As a matter of fact, I love the "travelling around the world" thing. And I love Mater's character development and the new characters, especially Finn McMissile and Holley Shiftwell. This is, without any doubt, my favourite film of the Cars trilogy.
