Description
My wonderful border collie Jess who gave me and those who knew her (postmen, binmen and milk men the exception) many happy years. We got her as a 5 month pup from the Border Collie and Sheepdog Rescue, Richmond on February 14th 1997 and at first she was a trial having very strong instincts.
She chased cars, sheep, donkeys and runners but with time and perserverance she became the perfect dog hardly putting a paw wrong she used to greet us with a bark which sounded like she was saying hello and whenever she wanted out she could almost say a walk. She was such an intelligent dog and will always have a place in our hearts she was 15 when she fell asleep on Sunday morning we woke up and found her lying there on the kitchen floor. Tears were shed and then our friend came down and said we could bury her in her field, we selected a spot and started digging and then the sun shone down making us realise what a sunny spot she was laid to rest in.
We will miss her but we know she hasn't truly left us she will always be there in our memories.

She will always watch over you, and even in your sleep, i'm sure she will watch you and your familly till they go to see her.
Rip Jess
I had a hamster before, let me get started on my story...
I have always wanted a hamster, well one day i went to get one, and i saw this hamster, i didn't pick him but he picked me, i finally got the hamster i wanted, it was my first hamster, i said him for almost 3 years till he passed away peacefully in his sleep aswell, he was a proud father of 19 hamsters pups.
Rip Whiskers.

aw, similar story to Jess I always wanted a dog from when I was very young but we lived in a town and my mam and dad had full time jobs they said that when we moved to the country I could have one five months later a rescue border collie five months old came into our lives. I finally had my dog and she was so special I still miss the greeting that she would give us in the morning she could almost say hello and then when she wanted a walk she could almost say that too everyone knew what she wanted.
She didn't suffer which is the best thing as she was so intelligent she would know what the needle was for and us trying not to cry she would have picked up on that. So she just passed away night before went on two long walks ate her dinner and in the morning she was gone

lol so cute, Jess would take a chew stick and if you held it in your hand to the last stub she would try to remove it without nipping

Yeah it is and a gypsy style caravan on her land faces the spot so we can always see her the plus is it's just a small distance away from where we live just a walk away in fact
