Another Gundam picture. I messed up the shadow from the gundam and merged it with the colors on Duo and Hilde... that took a while to fix. You might not even be able to notice it now.This is "Deathscythe Hell Custom", or one of the Gundams they added in the Gundam Wing movie. They seem to have meant for these to completely replace the Gundams seen in the series (as if Deathscythe always looked like this), but I've always preferred to think of them just as newer versions instead of total replacements.
Not sure why I drew this, it's been years since I've even seen an episode of Gundam Wing.

I was always a fan of HEavyarms custom myself, but thats just because I love the gattling guns and he looks vaguely like optimus prime. Oh yeah, no offense to anyone, but transformers kicks gundams ass!!!!!

Even of the Customs, I think DeathScythe was the most kick ass Gundam from the Wing series. Looks good. Nice choice of subject matter.
I have to agree with synaid - the hips on Duo look a little too wide. He's thin and lithe and this makes him look rather 'hippy'. May want to add some shading across the inside of the elbows as well. The way it is now, I get the distinct impression his head is on backwards. Sorry, I don't mean to be so critical - just want to help an already good artist improve their style further.

Duo's hips look a little wide.
Also, remember the manga we had on the site? It explained how Heero got bored, and upgraded his gundam to have the wings, and hinted that Duo was jealous and updgraded his, and the rest followed suit (supposedly), even though in Endless Waltz, the flashbacks were all of the new gundams.

You know, it's been ages since I've even thought about Gundam Wing... And this pic brought it all back!
I love Deathsythe (becasue he's a 17-meter metal Grim Reaper) and Duo... becuase Duo seems to be the most normal and least whiny of the Gundam pilots... That isn't saying much, though.
And I really didn't like how they basically said that the gundams in Endless Waltz were the same as the ones in the series... Don't get me wrong, I love the Gundams in EW... But you know what I mean.
Love the scaled down scythe, too!
Duo and Hilde look great! (I don't see enough Hilde art.)
And Deathscythe looks just plain awesome!
