There's this new remake of Sailor Moon that I haven't seen yet, but I keep seeing complaints about the art style. It looks almost like almost a parody of anime maybe? Maybe it looks better in motion. It seems like an unusual choice at least.

I saw this post where an artist was comparing the typical anime style of the 1990's with the typical anime style of the 2010's. It was kind of interesting, so I thought I'd try to draw Sailor Jupiter here in my attempt to imitate what was suggested as the current typical anime style.

I changed her shoes intentionally. I always thought it was weird for her to wear almost high-heels. Considering I already wasn't trying to exactly follow her canon design, I changed them to a more normal school-girl shoes.

Sailor Moon was one of my original introductions to Anime along with Dragonball (unless you count Voltron). But I haven't see it in a long time.
