A, heaven to my eyes and heart, torture to my mind.
It reminds me of a poem I wrote a while back.....I love the window hidden in the book shelf, just enough space to get in to it, but not enough to get out. . .

That...is so very cool. I sat here for ages trying to work out where the mirror is...think I've got it but it's very difficult to tell.
Is that a light on the fourth shelf from the bottom?
Anyway, aside from the awesomeness that comes from it being an infinite bookshelf, I also like the photo' itself. The composition is good - it really leads your eye in, and I like the wide DOF - if the books further away were out-of-focus it would really spoil the image. And even though indoor lighting is usually absolutely awful for photography, it works so well here - the yellowish colour given to all the books is just right.
Um...yeah. That's all I have to say.
Great job.

This is fantastic! I reminds me of something you would see in a game where you have to guess what the objects are...it would have taken me awhile to realize they were books. Beautiful photo, I would love to see this in person!

Indeed, the original artist is amazing, but I was unable to find credits of the bookshelf creator on that day, there isn't any artist notes or info around. Hope the display is still there the next time I go visiting, so that I could add some more info to it.

Whoever the artist is is very talented! I am so glad you were able to capture the essence of it in such a great photo! Thank you for sharing it! I hope you are able to see it again someday and get the information you are seeking.

It was a very cool display in a local art museum. You can recreate this by building a small 3 side bookshelf and add mirrors on both the floor and the ceiling of the shelf. =]
